I am Semi-Lit to Advance-Lit I prefer Lit to Advanced Lit where possible. I am looking for a Alice in Wonderland/Chronicles of Alice Rp. I want to do like a mix of the Chronicles of Alice/Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland, I would be the one to play the Mad Hatter/Hatcher, and I’d be looking for an Alice. And I do want this to be a ship thing in places too. It would be a horror and fantasy and psychological mix with romance thrown in - I don’t want do this as a pure romance as I want too retain the factors of the Chronicles of Alice Books and the Tim Burton/follow up to the Tim Burton movie. I don’t currently have a plot though I am happy to come up with one together and I do want to do this as a plot, we can discuss anything in Pms. I actually like how Alice in Wonderland can have dark undertones and I wanted to play only this, also I would be playing Hatter/Hatcher as having a split personality, kinda like the Hatters split personality in the Tim Burton film and it’s follow up. This would be between the Hatter/Hatcher (me) and an older Alice (you….) since Alice is older in both the horror Chronicled of Alice books by Christina Henry and the Tim Burton film and it’s follow up Film.

It would be set after the events of Through the Looking Glass, Alice Kingsleigh thought time had locked her out of Underland, though she finds herself once again in the place that as she child she nicknamed Wonderland, this time she finds herself trapped there. Tarrant Hightopp - The Mad Hatter hasn’t been coping well with her banishment so when she once again finds herself in Underland, he seems like he’s gone from the slightly mad man she met when she first came to Underland to completely off his head, not to mention doesn’t recognize Alice. Also the links between Underland Hatter and real world Hatcher can be discussed in pms as I do have ideas.

Character in general: SO MANY AMAZING CHARACTERS!!! Lucy Gray, Caesar… but ESPECIALLY Luxa!!! I absolutely love that I get to write with someone else who loves the Underland Chronicles considering how underrated they are!!! As for Fish, I ADORE her, especially the dynamics between her and Strahm and her and Sejanus!! I can’t wait to keep developing our characters’ relationships!!

How they play them: SO WELL!! They always add such depth and emotions to all of their characters, and I can hear their voices in their writing!!!

     I can’t narrow it down to just one because there’s??? So MANY good options????? Like holy heck, if anybody made a lit-style rp blog for any of them and was willing to dive with me into hell, that would make my day. I live for Gregor getting yanked back into all that mess he tried to get away from.

     Like, seriously. A ghost Fangor, a ghost Bane, a ghost Twirltongue. King Gorger. HENRY. Even OCs based on any of the heaven-only-knows how many Gnawers were siding with the Bane. I would kill to see more people jumping in on this okay. And totally not just because I’ve been having a heck of a time trying to design them as ghosts, rip.

     … who am I kidding tho, I’d love to see any lit-style rp blogs for TUC folks. It’d be awesome to have some more people over here.

     Like??? This could be??? A really cool crossover????? I love that series anyways, with all its world-jumping shenanigans. And I admit when I was watching it there was just this feel about Marco that made me think of Gregor for some reason? I can’t really put a name to it though? I guess the whole ‘kid is just trying to do The Right Thing™ but got dragged into a metric ton of nonsense he 100% did not ask for’ kind of applies to both, for one thing.

     I dunno, I just feel like they’d probably get along pretty well. And I live for super salty Gregor getting dragged into more stuff honestly. Can you even imagine how weirded out he’d be by Mewni? The de ja vu would be strong in this one.

     Dipper Pines from Gravity Falls.

     This would be another really fun one honestly? I can’t help wondering if the Underland was mentioned in the journals, or if even those didn’t have any information on it. Either way, I’m sure running into someone who’s been there would be QUITE a surprise. And can you imagine Gregor getting yanked into all the nonsense around Gravity Falls too? Like mannnnn he’d be so hecking DONE. Yet he’d still do his best to help even as he’s wondering once again ‘why me.’

     Or alternatively, the Pines family in NYC(or even just Dipper and Mabel) for a school trip or something, and getting tied up with the Underland and Gregor’s ‘captive audience’ offshoot. That could be really neat, too.

1. What is your favorite trope to rp?

Oh lord, I have plenty that I absolutely adore.

It's pretty obvious on this account but I absolutely die for Enemies-to-Lovers, Love/Hate, or Hero Falling for Villian/Villian Falling for Hero. I just love love love love these types of situations, where one or both absolutely are on opposing sides or hate one another with a passion but slowly start to bond or open up to one another and build into a romance that ends with both being absolutely devoted and deeply in love. Plus, it also checks off my need both angst and slow burn, which I also love to death...

Speaking of Slow Burn Romance is also my absolute favorite, kind of goes hand in hand with the above honestly. Especially works with characters who feel like no one can love them or don’t feel like they deserve love for some reason...or those who’ve had bad romantic experience before and thus kind of write off romance. It just depends really...but slow burn is just my favorite.

Fond Family is also my favorite, I just adore anything that has to do with Familiar Bonds/Platonic bonds just as much as romantic one. I am also sucker for Child/Parent relationships or Mentor/Student relationships.

I also adore Friendships, especially if combined with Fond Family. That just...love this so much and love seeing characters bond on a platonic level.

Also, I love just fluff and angst in general, which is pretty obvious XD I got plenty though but these are probably some of my favorite.

19. Who is an author that inspires you?

I don‘t know if I have an author that inspires me...I have plenty who written some of my favorite works though. I guess a few I can mention such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (who wrote my absolute favorite book Sherlock Holmes), Edgar Allen Poe, Oscar Wilde, Mary Shelley (Love Frankenstein), Isaac Asimov (I, Robot is another favorite of mine), J.R.R Tolkien, Susan Collins (Highly recommend Underlander Chronicles), George R. R. Martin, and a few others. I probably have more, but I can’t think of names right now or the author fell out of my graces for reasons.

As you can probably guess from most, their stories are highly character focused OR have a rich world, both of which I love with a passion. Especially some that focus on the morals and make you question certain aspects of humanity or the human nature. 

But than again, I just have always liked writing, so I never really thought of who inspired me or why I started...I just like to be creative and tell stories XD

25. One thing you’d like new roleplayers to know?

You are allowed to take breaks and take your time with replies, do not stress yourself out with replies or think you have a dead-line. This is just a fun hobby and you should be having fun with it not stressing. Enjoy yourself and have fun.

((This is an extremely descriptive, multiple character plot that I have pre-planned.)) •Super duo/team coming together to defeat a mass villain/conflict •Pandemic survivor must take an immune survivor across the US in order to extract the cure (credit to The Last of Us) •Future where androids/robots are used as helpers for just about anything, for example: Keeping disabled and elderly people company in their homes, doing odd jobs to assist humanity, etc. among this, most people who don't need them as companions are very prejudice against the AI. It is up to our characters to stop the impending war between AI and human. (Credit to I, Robot. Two of our main characters can be a human and an AI! :V) •Assassin roleplay (can be assassin/target, assassin/assassin. historical or modern) •Explorers looking for a treasure on the coast of a tropical island(credit to the Uncharted series! Can be romantic or platonic) •Time traveller gets stuck in time, and another person has to help them get back to the reality they came from. • Oceanologists go to a secluded island to study the plants and sea life in the water, and on a scuba dive, discover creatures unlike anything they've ever seen. People with tails and scales! (Merpeople! :D Can be romantic, like all the others) •Person goes to live in a very wealthy relatives home after they pass away, and learns how secluded the neighborhood really is, with a small village of less than 30 people, and nothing more. Supernatural occurrences ensue, and characters must stop the thing/creature as it starts taking people in the night. •Detective duo goes to a secluded mental penitentiary together in order to solve the case of a patient that went missing out of nowhere. Throughout their journey, detective 1 is separated from their partner, and is put through a series of trials in order to find their missing patient. What they think is going on isn't what it appears to be. (credit to the movie Shutter Island. Heavily influenced on the plot, and will contain many, many triggers. Such as murder, mental illness, and deception.) ------------ Limits: I cannot do pedophilia, mpreg, beastiality and/or furries, gun/knife kink, bathroom stuff, a/b/o, or gruesomely detailed rape/forced sexual interactions. Are there any characters you love but can't RP and what's your greatest inspiration when it comes to RP?

     ... Oh dear. There’s a lot of muses I really love but just can’t seem to get myself into character for. One is Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist; he’s just such a fascinating character, and I love how layered he is. He has this tough guy ‘I do what I want’ attitude, and he’ll joke around and pretend nothing bothers him, but if you read the manga... There’s waaaay more to him than that. I might be able to write him someday, but not right now. I also really like Jowee from the little-known game Drawn to Life, but, well... If I think it’s hard writing for obscure characters in relatively well-known fandoms, I’m sure writing an obscure character in an even more obscure fandom would be downright painful. You can’t really roleplay a muse if nobody will write with it, you know?

     As for other characters I really like but just can’t seem to write up to my own standards... Sans from Undertale, Yellow from the Pokemon Adventures manga, Vio Link from the Legend of Zelda Four Swords manga, and... Basically any other canon muses from any fandom ever, aside from Gregor from the Underland Chronicles, who I think I can write decently at least. Though I couldn’t really find partners for him, so I guess he’s in the same boat as poor Jowee.

     Inspiration is a hard thing... I get it from a lot of places, and it’s always changing. A lot of it is very intrinsic; I’ll spend a lot of time just thinking about the muses I’m writing, coming up with headcanons and such and getting myself into character. I also get it from other people; when I can tell other people are really getting invested in the roleplay, that makes me really excited. It just makes it seem like it all was worth it, and we have a good story going.

     If we go back though, really really far back, the thing that originally inspired me to roleplay was, weirdly enough, a Legend of Zelda crossover story/comic/mess I originally worked on when I was like... Five. It kind of kept going from there, and when I was 14 I found roleplay chatrooms and that’s where things went from there. A lot of what I do these days has its roots in all that crossover insanity; I guess that’s the reason I love straying on the fine line between absurdity and ingenuity all the time. It brings back memories of the Good Old Days™ I guess, or something like that.

          Hello hello, an indie post-story Gregor the Overlander roleplay blog here, looking for partners both in their own fandom(The Underland Chronicles) and also in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians fandom! I’m especially on the hunt for people who’re up for extensive storytelling, character development, and plotting, and are happy to write para and/or novella-style roleplay.      I can gladly provide graphics for themes and icons, as long as you can give me an idea of the aesthetic you’d like to go for and what dimensions you need. Unfortunately I’m not good at coding a theme from scratch, though I can certainly point you to tons of really nice free ones.

     I’m just gonna start with the least obvious ones and work my way back, because let’s face it; everybody and their cousin can guess that I’d love more Underland Chronicles lit-style rp blogs to write with okay. I don’t even have to go there.

     Red from the Pokémon Adventure/Special manga.

     Tbh I’d love any muse from that manga, though I think Red and Gregor would have the best interactions. Really, Gregor is a character that would get along with and relate to a LOT of main protagonists in various series, so… Yeah.

     If I’m honest, that manga is the main reason I really WANTED a Pokémon verse for Gregor; it’d just be… Really neat okay. On top of that, they both have really different strengths, so I feel like they’d make a great team in a pinch. I feel like they’d probably get along well personality-wise too, so there’s also that. And there’s also the semi-hilarious reality that Gregor would have literally no idea this guy is anybody special unless he was directly told it, and even then I don’t think it’d make him act too differently. I mean, main verse Gregor is unfazed by literal ROYALTY, I don’t think Pokémon verse Gregor is going to be much different in that regard.

     … And I’m rambling again. But yeah. I think it’d be good. Yes.
